French Words - Lite is an educational app developed by LEscapadou that aims to help children aged 3/4 to 7/8 learn how to read and spell in French. It is also suitable for older children who want to improve their spelling skills while having fun.

With 240 word-picture-audio combinations, this app provides a wide range of words for children to learn. The words have been carefully selected based on their phonetic difficulty and are categorized into three levels of difficulty. This allows children to start with easy words and gradually progress to more challenging ones.

One of the standout features of French Words - Lite is the inclusion of audio pronunciations by native French and American speakers. This helps children become familiar with the spoken French language and improves their pronunciation skills.

The app is based on a spelling activity from the Montessori method, using a movable alphabet to spell words. Children can associate the phonetic sounds of letters with their written symbols, enhancing their understanding of the French language.

French Words - Lite also offers 21 fun and interactive visual effects that children can enjoy upon completing a word. Additionally, there is a standalone movable alphabet feature that allows children to build their own words and play with letters.
